I'd like to share with you some art that my clients have shared with me.
First, isn't this great? A former client gave me this after her case was closed. If anyone is in need of a graphic artist, please contact me for a referral.
Next, Lucky Red. Back in 1997, I tried a case on behalf of Wise County Animal Control regarding over a dozen horses alleged to have been neglected. The jury found in our favor, and the Court ordered the horses to be put up for adoption. One of these was Lucky Red, whose new owners sent me this picture.
A pen is given to those attorneys whose cases are set for oral argument before the federal Court of Appeals. In law school, I was presented with an award in our Moot Court competition. There are twenty two years between the pen and the plaque. The case I argued was published. U.S. v. Diaz, 637 F.3d 592 (5th Cir. 2011)
