This sketch was drawn of my cross-examination of a witness in a drug-trafficking conspiracy in federal court. The scales are, of course, artistic license. Some other work of the artist can be seen at www.mahlerart.com.
I enjoyed this drawing on a letter I received from the jail, and I hope you enjoy seeing it as well.
A pen is given to those attorneys whose cases are set for oral argument before the federal Court of Appeals. In law school, I was presented with an award in our Moot Court competition. There are twenty two years between the pen and the plaque. The case I argued was published.
